Holly : Of course. (Resumes probing in the other mouth areas and jots down numbers). I'm writing down the pocket readings I'm getting gere. You have a little discoloration and a little puffiness in most of the gum tissues i'm seeing, but I notice that the only area that should be really uncomfortable is that lower left section we started with. OK. That wasn't too bad was it? Let me show you what I have found.

Holly stands up and walks over to intraoral camera.

Holly : This is an intraoral camera and I'm going to let you see for yourself what I've been looking at. (Holly shows Mrs. Jones the picture screen and the mouth lens). this little lens takes moving pictures of your mouth and then the image is magnified and shows up on that screen up there. Let me show you how it works on that nice ring you are wearing. (Holly points lens at ring and the image shows up on the screen) As you can see, the camera magnifies the ring 20-30 times its original size. It does the same thing with your teeth and gums this gives you and me a better opportunity to see what's going on.

Holly : Great. Let's get started. (Holly inserts the camera mouthpiece in lower left quadrant first.) Here. I'd like you to take a look at the screen What we're looking at now is that lower left area of your mouth where you are having so much discomfort. (Moves the camera over to the lower right quadrant). This is more or less the same view of the lower right side of your mouth. See the difference between the two images? The gums on the right side are a little puffy swollen by comparison. (Holly hands the mouthpiece to Mrs. Jones). I'd like you to try this yourself. Move this gently from the right side back to the left again. You can pause a little in the middle so we can have a look there too.
Holly : 좋습니다. 시작하겠습니다. (치과위생사는 구내촬영카메라 마우스피스 부분을 하악 좌측 1/4악 부위에 먼저 위치시킨다.) 여기 스크린을 보시기 바랍니다. 우리가 지금 보고 있는 것은 고객님이 많은 불편함을 호소하셨던 하방 좌측 부위입니다.
